I just got back from editing my second project for Audio/Video/Film Production. The concept behind this project was to learn how to use microphones and FinalCut's sound manipulation. After five hours of cutting and such tonight, I am proud to present my new short. It's a couple of short scenes from a script I started over the summer called Sarah Is.... I'm rather pleased with it, and this time the project's length perameters didn't force me to compromise my artistic vision (check-plus). So here, it is (QuickTime 7, 30.5MB):

Let me know if you have any notes or suggestions. The project's not due until Wednesday, so if there are glaring annoyances or problems (with sound levels, mostly), please let me know; I've got time to fix them. Also, please note that I am finished with a school assignment six days early. This has never happened. *high five* I hope you enjoy the movie.

In other news, last weekend was pretty fun, Monday was nice, my Civil War paper is something worth being proud of (I think), and the rest of the week was decent. I'm still waiting on my first two GameFly games; hopefully I'll get them (MVP NCAA Baseball 06 and Gun) tomorrow. The weekend looks semi-decent, for movies at least. I have the six-hour Italian movie The Best of Youth from Netflix and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada will be at the Chelsea.

Oh, and have you seen the Spider-Man 3 teaser poster with the BLACK COSTUME?! Fuckin' awesome!

G'night.
