Whenever I start to feel down about school work I need to realize this...the reason I don't "get it" as quickly as I used to is 'cause I'm teaching myself. I don't have anyone teaching me.
I used to be one of those kids, especially in math, that had to have it explained to her once and then she got it. In a matter of ten minutes I could learn multiplication, or division, etc. Now that I'm teaching myself it takes a little longer to have it sink in. I went through this major "I'm stupid" feeling lately and just wanted to give up, but...the fact that I CAN get it shows that no, I'm not stupid. And the fact that I'm teaching MYSELF and still yet getting again, again shows I'm not stupid.

I'm gonna go do some Algebra now. Mom and I are on chapter 21 of Daddy's Little Girl. I like it very much. Can anyone recommend some other good books mom and I should read together?
