i just came back from my birthday dinner, about an hour ago actually. we went to Charlie Brown's, it's in Commack.
i bought boots today. their a really dark blue, almost black, but if their in the right light ya know...their pretty cool. they have those cool laces in the front that are there just for show, like you don't actually have to lace them cause theres the zipper on the side. i love when designers do stuff like that; pockets that aren't really pockets for instance, they're so damn annoying, but so cool at the same time. they can be useful in a way, these things that have no purpose. instead of spending an hour on lacing up my boots, i just zip up the side, but keep all that cool laced up look. and pockets can be such a bother sometimes, so maybe pretending that they're there is better?! yeah!
anyway, i'm seeing the play Doubt tomorrow. i'm really excited. and we're staying at a snazzy lookin hotel. also exciting. i love going to the city! all right, that's enough. i'm going to bed now.
