I'm home.
I forgot what it was like to live in a house. I've forgotten what its like to shower without shoes on. I've forgotten what its like not to say goodnight to a cabin of 16 crazy girls and 2 amazing co counselors. And what its like not having a curfew, and being kicked out of the staff lounge every night at 12:35 by the israeli security guard. I've forgotten what real, healthy, non-fried cafeteria food tastes like. I've forgotten life without a nalgene. and life without a clipboard. and life without a hachshivu loudspeaker announcement every 5 minutes. I've forgotten what it feels like not to be "on". Or what it feels like not to have some program i should be working on. And what it feels like not to be "covering".
It's 3:51 AM, and it feels like 2:51, thanks to the strange time switch. Perfect time to enjoy a first real, shoe-less shower.
I can't wait.

12 days till my 18th birthday
21 days till I leave for israel

Life is crazy. where did this summer go? where did 18 years go?
