my vote is gonna go to one ms. cynthia mckinney this november. i don't agree with that bullshit that a vote for a third-party candidate is a waste. to me, the only wasted votes are the ones that aren't cast. i think the point of an election should be to vote for the person that most closely represents your ideals. i mean, what the fuck, i can walk

i guess i just feel like he thinks like me and that i'm not the only one when i listen to him speak. i don't get that vibe quite as strongly from cynthia mckinney though i do totally respect her house experience. she totally got screwed over for doing what's right.
the sad thing is, even though they have the publics best interest at heart, they hold closer views to the people than most of the politicians we'll see run by the two parties... without being able to get into the debates they have no chance of getting wide enough coverage to be able to get noticed by people who don't have the ability to look them up on youtube and go to their websites, sift through voting records... the people who need help the most, ones who work two jobs, three jobs, have a lot of mouths to feed and not enough money and honestly dont have the time or inclination to read between the lines because they've been so disenfranchised.
i personally think, and this is just my opinion... even if everyone knew what the third party candidates stood for and were aware of the corruption of the two main candidates... unless they felt like the third party candidates had a chance... alot of them would still vote against their own best interest. i hear it all the time "well i can't throw my vote away". people don't realize that you can't change the system that is keeping people out by just wishing it would be that way. you have to step out of your comfort zone and do something! okay, sorry about being rambly and ranting. i'm going to have to do more cynthia mckinney research now. heheheh.
