Because she's looking for a specific Cross. Don't mind her she just sticks out like a sore thumb, what with her modest clothing and fidgeting hands.]

[Why hello little lamb. A specific Cross just happens to be in this bar, smoking and reading something in a nondescript black leather folder. She notices you though, and the folder disappears somewhere, and her attention is all on Lavi, to see why she's here and how she deals with the atmosphere.]

[Eventually her gaze lands on Cross. She pauses for a moment before coming over to her. Suddenly she wonders if this is really a good idea.] ...General.

Lavi. [Cross makes room on the booth for Lavi, tilting her head to indicate the girl should sit.]

[Takes a seat, hands folded in her lap.

How to go about this :|a Lavi stares at the floor trying to remember why she thought this was a good idea.]

[Cross waits, not prompting Lavi or helping. She can be terribly patient, and it's not really necessarily helpful when she is.]

[And Cross leans an elbow on the table, all her attention on Lavi.] With what?

I'm worried. [She spoke quietly, forcing herself not to look up at as eccentrically dressed people walked by.]
