Appearance: Long, dark hair (ignore the PB fail, it'll be fixed eventually). Brown eyes. Large scars on either side of his hands. Very slim, feminine face and build; 5'8"/130lb but skinnier now (~110lb) because... Life on the run is not easy :|
Bio: Maxwell is a homosexual man that identifies as a heterosexual woman, hence the name "Miranda." This wasn't a problem for the most part, since he passed as a woman easily and it was far from the reason for why he lost jobs with such frequency. Even when he started working for the Vatican, they were willing to let his "oddity" slide. ...For a while. Then things started to get worse. The experiments on exorcists resumed. Allen lost himself to the 14th. Something terrible happened to Lavi. Along the way he was forced coerced persuaded to return to dressing as a man. He shouldered it and kept going; there were more important things to worry about, after all. The failing war effort, for one. When the Heart was killed his entire life seemed to turn on its head in a single moment, feeling his Innocence destroyed and watching as his friends died around him. Since then he's been hiding away with the other survivors, keeping them safe and helping out as best he can. When money or supplies are low he's found his body sells for a solid price, thanks to his feminine appearance. Better him than the others, and it's the only job he can think to reliably work without getting fired.
Personality: Guilty and unsure why he was allowed to live, he's turned to God and his friends for guidance. To this end, he's more willing to risk his well being to help his friends than is generally healthy. His actions are often fueled by a strange flavor of desperation, his steadfast refusal to give up tinted by subconsciously suicidal impulses.
Other: Has syphilis, but it's in its early stages so he's fine for now. Extremely devout/religious without being bound by dogma; wears a rosary with St. Christopher (patron saint of travelers) on it. Still prefers to be called "Miranda" even if he continues to dress as a man (though Lavi calls him Max and he's fine with it). Has a huge crush on Marie.
