even lemon cake cannot soothe this melancholy

i don't want to clean the cat pans, or pay my bills, or grocery shop. i don't want to vacuum or go to therapy, do laundry or wash my hair. and i certainly don't want to go into work like i told myself i would. the snow is barely held back in those gray clouds, i know. i can't stand winter.

why can't humans hibernate?
