Well, I am home now. Back in Lake Orion. Here are some details from my trip...GET READY FOR THIS!
It took us 20 hours to get from here to Panama City, FLA. I spent 20 hours in the passenger seat of a VW Bug. I think I lost my mind somewhere in Kentucky. Trevor (the guy who I drove with) thought he had a sinus infection, but he really had a cold and I ended up getting sick from being in a car with him for so long. We got stuck in accident traffic for 2 hours...I was skipping down the freeway and knocking on windows and talking to random people. Fun times. We got to Florida around 7 in the morning and our hotel wouldn't let us check in until 2. We slept in the car and ate some breakfast (BTW, there are alot of places called 'Waffle House' in the South. I have never seen one before until then but they were EVERYWHERE. It was like Starbucks/McDonalds)
So we check in and our room is AMAZING. It was seriously right on the beach. The first day we pretty much just relaxed being so tired from the drive. The second and third day it rained, but we ended up making friends with the room a few doors down from us. There was a big group of kids from Southeastern Louisiana University, specifically from the Theta Chi fraternity in that room and they were AWESOME. We partied with them constantly from that point on. They were either in our room or we were in theirs. Usually we were in theirs because Jesse and Erica couldn't stop doing it. But that's a whole 'nother story.
So the week in Florida comes to an end (I've got great pictures) and we all decide that we haven't partied enough. By now, our little group is completely out of cash. I mean COMPLETELY. But, we pack up our bags and follow our new buddies to Louisiana. The other 3 members of our group left the next morning, but Trevor and I stuck around for a few days. Trevor and I both got a phone call about being cast in the Renaissance Festival. I'm a gypsy thief and he's a queen's guard. I saw a great movie and I left my heart in someone's room. The kicker for me is when they took us to Bourbon Street. That's when I decided to move. After that we headed to Indianapolis. That was pretty uneventful. We sat in this hippie girl's cute studio apartment and I fell asleep. Trevor should have gotten some, but he didn't. And that's sad.
I came home and convinced Alyssa and Ali (my two best friends) that we need to take a road trip down to Louisiana to see if they liked it as much as I did.
And the moral of our story is...
I'm moving to Louisiana before September.
