Goodness, I'd almost forgotten how potent Viki's sneezes are. I'd just waved Watari goodbye, when a I heard an achoo behind me and ended up in Kouan. They had quite a lot of heavy snowfall down there, so I had to stay there for a week before I could even start on the journey back. It's taken me all this time to get here, but I'm grateful it didn't take longer - I could have been teleported to somewhere I've not been before or through time, after all.
Anyway, as you can probably tell, I had to buy some new clothes. My normal ones got soaked through in the snow, and I didn't want to catch a cold, so I bought these in Kouan. While they're not my usuall type of thing, and people do mistake me for a fisherman on occasion, they're comfortable and I've grown to like them. I also bought a few herbs and spices that I'd run out of since I was last in Toran, so I'm ready to cook for whoever's in need of some good food.
Talking of cooking... Mamie, I'll be at work as soon as evening rolls in. I'm sorry for disappearing when you needed able hands, so I'd be more than willing to do a little overtime to catch up all the time I missed if you want.
