Trip To Virginia.
I just got back from my trip to Washington D.C, Virginia. It's 7:30a.m.
For the first time in a long time I saw the sunrise. It's still beautiful.
We left on the 27th around 3:00p.m. The gang was Mom,Meg,Rob, Meg's boyfriend Edwin and Me, and arrived around 8:00a.m. We made terrible timing with that. 16hr car ride. Normally we make it in 13hrs - 14hrs. Entertainment was watching Resident Evil Apol., And Spun (2 of my favorite movies) Meg being a huge dork and insist on playing "I'm going on a picnic", or any of those weird games,sleeping, talking, music, and such. A lot of the time I sat quietly and listened to Rob sing. He doesn't sing much, but I like it when he does.
Right when we got there I headed stright for the woods. Roba dn Edwin followed me. I went to Lemon and I's hide-out. It was still up. I went to the rope-swing. it had fallen. I got sad. The swing were so many good memories with my cousin was broken. I laughed and blammed it on a fat-kid. We walked in the woods for a while, then headed home and crashed. When we woke up we got dressed and went site seeing. I've done this a million times. We saw the Washinington,Lincoln, Capitol, The White House, Jefferson, Vietmen, and a few other monuments. It was cold. I missed the cold. I sat down by the "Freedom Is Not Free" monument. Rob snapped a picture. I want that picture.
On the car ride back, we went through Georgetown, visited the house they made the Excorist, and a few other stores. There is a Starbucks on every cornor. I throught about what it would be like if I moved up there, like I planned at the begining of the year....pondered that for a really long time.
Next day we chilled out most of the day, then went to the Holocost Musuem. Honest to God, one of the best museums I've ever been in. All the swachticas ( I know I can't spell for shit), the SS Guards and all the German Newspapers, and things amde me think of Michelle and Elizabeth. Made me smile. I remember watching a 13 miniute movie on Hiter's rise to power. I whispered, " Wish you were here guys". Rob and I finished. I treated him to a Hotdog. We went to a few other museums. It was a very good day.
Next day we just chilled out all day. Went and saw my Uncle, Aunt and 2 annoying little cousin. Rob and I visited for a little bit, then snuck down stairs and watched Collage football.
New years eve. Rob took me to the mall to find me my knee-high-boots I'm dying to get. They didnt; have them, they had my 2nd favorite pair, but not in my size. We walked around the mall and just huing out. Later that night we ate an awesome dinner opened some presents and had some good laughs with my family. When my fmaily left I was bored. I'm not used to staying in on New Years Eve, Rob and I stayed up and watched the Ball drop in New York. We gave each other our New Years kiss. He drifted off to sleep....I snuck out of the house.
I met up with Lemon. It's always Wonderful to see him. He brought the gang with him. Cherry, Jeff, Tim, and Lisa and we went to the fort out in the woods. Smoked a few cigerettes, made a couple jokes, left the fort and just walked around for a while. Lemon and me went by ourselfs to the park to talk. It was nice to talk to Lemon. He looks great. The mowhark is now lime green. I snuck back into the house around 6a.m. I had a good night with the gang.
That morning, exusted as I was, my little cousin joined us, and we all went hiking on Billy Goats trail. I have been hiking this since I was 4. Best part was sitting on the huge boaders for lunch, looking over the Potomic Rover. Spent the rest of the day hanging out.
We left Virgina Jan 2nd at 2pm. Same ol' Same long boring ride home.We watched "Tears of the Sun" <----REALLY good movie by the way. I read 2 of my books, Rob slept most of the way. Worst part of the trip was a terrible accident happened, involving a semi, and 2 small cars. Rob saw some body bags....just after the holidays too. We said a couple prayers.
Now it's 8:00a.m. and I think I'm going to head to bed. School starts up again tomorrow. Only 18 more weeks of school.
