Sesame Street, season 41 - my thoughts

I heard the term "drop it like it's hot" on Sesame Street. Oh how times have changed...

On the other hand, the current season has a new segment, Super Grover 2.0, which is one of the best things they've done in years.

Also, brand-new Abby's Flying Fairy School segments. That was introduced in season 40, and it's much better than I thought it'd be, with lots of jokes and references the target audience wouldn't even remotely get. Not to mention, I love the characters. There's Abby of course, but also Blogg, who is a hybrid fairy-troll, and Gonnigan, who tends to disappear briefly once per episode (hence his name).

They should really spin that off into it's own show and air it on Sprout. I think it'd do really well.

I like Elmo, but I could really do without Elmo's World, and I turn the channel once it comes on.

But yeah, there's my brief synopsis.
