(no subject)
I am sooooooooo angry right now. On April 20th I booked off this Saturday, May 27th, cause I'm going to a baseball game downtown at the Skydome, in a BOX. Yes, one of those really cool suites where people wait on you and you get to eat until you can't move. Very fun.
However... my work booked me. So I told my manager, and she said, okay we can try to get you on an earlier shift but you have to talk to Danielle and make sure that's okay with her, and blah blah blah. So I call Dani, and she's says, well I guess if you can't get anyone else to take it I can, but I really don't like closing shifts (which is what I had). So then I message Julia to ask if she would take it but she's already working Sunday and doesn't want to work Saturday too- BIG DEAL! For almost the first three months I worked there I worked EVERY Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and I still work at least two days of the weekend, and I'm in school! I have no social life cause I am always at work or doing homework. It's a pain in the ass.
So then I call Ayesha, who thankfully can take my shift so I call back Dani at the store and she switches it on the shedule for me.
But my question is.. should this not be the manager's job? I'm just a part timer, I had the time booked off for a month. Why do I have to call people? Why can't she just change the shedule herself?? This is so freaking irritating!!!
They better not book me any days next week, cause Sunday is Rachie's party, Monday and Tuesday is Showcase, and Friday is Prom. If they book me any of those days... I will scream!
