this is a lea michele / glee fan related rant.
If I try to talk to anyone about this they'll be thinking, "omgyoucrazy" while saying "okay" and "yeah." basically? no one cares. so here we are.
I've put way too much thought into this. You've been warned.
I've never met Lea. I didn't stagedoor (or even know what stagedoor was!) when I saw her in Spring Awakening back in 2007. From what I've heard, she's a bitch. I have no proof of this. This is really only what I've heard from friends. I imagine it's probably true that her behavior around fans is different than the way she acts in her everyday life. I imagine she maybe felt a little uncomfortable around fans. I don't know. I have no way of knowing.
She already had a bad reputation on the Broadway scene. Like I said, I don't have proof. I've just heard it from quite a few people. Things are getting a lot worse now and it's all really ridiculous. She said something really fucking stupid to a famous photographer. She may have been joking but it clearly wasn't taken that way. She can't expect everyone to know who she is. She's still new on the scene. A lot of glee fans are saying that the photographer should have known who she is. They're saying that he's been photographing her since her Spring Awakening days. That may be true but that does not mean that he would know who she is immediately. He photographs A LOT of people. I don't know what the protocol is. Are photographers expected to know exactly what celebrity they're taking pictures of all the time? I have no clue. The point is, she shouldn't have said what she said. It was not an appropriate comment to make even if she was only kidding.
The thing that is REALLY getting on my nerves is that everyone is acting like they know how she really is. How? How do you know? We've got gossip blogs and broadway fans saying that she's a bitch and we've got rabid glee fans saying that it can't possibly be true. Guess what guys. We have no way of knowing the truth. Until a cast member or Ryan Murphy comes out and starts listing all the reasons why Lea is a bitch and is difficult to work with then we can't really say anything. I have to lean more towards the broadway fans opinion of things simply because I trust my friends opinions. I don't know what to believe either, though. It's just annoying to see certain people saying not so nice things about her and then other people are all, "NO WAY. IT CAN'T POSSIBLY BE. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT."
We have no way of knowing the truth and I'm tired of people assuming they know what's going on. I wish the crazy glee fans (no offense) would shut up because you saying that there's no way that it's all true is ANNOYING.
Basically, I just wish all the glee fans would shut up. There's probably a reason that these rumors are out there. I'm sure she did something to deserve it. I'm not saying she's as bad as they're making her out to be AT ALL but clearly something isn't right. She's not perfect. She's not some saint. Stop acting like it. it's possible that she was wrong.
