[Bernkastel is out there in the town, walking through every street, and taking a look at the houses from outside, as well as experimenting a bit with the "border" of the town by seeing where exactly the loop happens

Just taking a look at this town. It was set up in an interesting way, don't you think?

[He gets her usual look, which is nondescript and quite empty.]

Not really. I think it's kind of boring, to be honest.

Really? How come?

Because it's all pretty much the same. Where I'm from, every street looks different and the routes curve all over the place making it interesting.

[beatssuperpaper]

Ah, I wasn't talking about the look of the houses, but the way reality is set up to overlap with itself.

[artwithknives]

I guess that's interesting? I don't think too hard on it since it's going to be the same thing over and over again.

Not to mention that I really can't understand the magic behind that. Magi and stuff confuse me enough as it is.

I am actually wondering if it is magic in the first place.

But of course, I did not mean to confuse. I simply am interested in the mechanics ruling this place. They may help at deducing the capabilities of the masters of this place.

It really has to be magic, I think. The only time I've ever heard of mind control technology or space bending magic was in movies.

But of course, that may just me being hopeful, for it would be more interesting.

That's true. It was said that magic does the same thing as science that has no need for time and money. But...I still say none of this stuff has ever been invented yet.

I am not willing to rule out non-magical causes yet, but true, if the ones running this place are from earth, it is more likely that they are magicians than not.

I wouldn't put it past Lambda to create something like this, after all.

I don't know who that is but they must be pretty out of their mind.

That may be a very accurate description of her. She is one of the new arrivals, just like myself. You can easily identify her by her shrill voice when she shouts my name.

I think I'll pass on trying to do that, thanks. Getting caught between a weird person and her target isn't my idea of hilarious fun.
