Oh, yes, demons are rather common in the games of witches, and often serve witches in exchange for various forms of compensation.

They most likely wouldn't have helped much, since a witch of my world would require a completely different approach to defeat or deal with than other kinds of witches that also live in this place.

You could say that. My kind is usually called voyager witch, because we travel between worlds. Although, occassionally, someone traps us in a cage made of a world for their amusement, until we break it.
