Oh, merely wondering what the town would do when the citizens start massacring each other. Not that I'm particularly working for it at the moment, that I leave to others.

They didn't seem to do much. One bloke thought calling for help while someone was getting maimed was a good idea.

I would hope they have the good sense not to visit my home, however.

Yes, asking those running the town for help seems to be futile, after all, they are not beyond poisoning the food on occasion.

As for the knive wielding ones, I believe the two mostly go for special targets, particularly the heroic types.
