So I haven't updated this much at all. I've been really negligent to write anything. Honestly nothing that interesting has been going on in my life, but I guess I feel like I should write some stuff. Anything will beat my last entry lol.
So work has kept me busy on weekdays. It seems that I don't even bother going to Felipe's house as much as I used to. I think you can blame all that on being lazy and my mom going out so much. When she goes out...I have to babysit. Work has been pretty stressful lately though. Truck drivers are a pain in the ass and they whine about the littlest shit. I guess I'm not in their shoes 'cause I'm sitting comfortably in an office so I don't know what they are going through. I can understand some of their gripes, but I really think they are a bunch of crybabies. If I could freeze time I'd stick a pacifier in their mouth.
Anyhow...I went to Bamboozle this year. Holy crap was that an awesome time. I never really thought there would be moshing or crowd surfing at a Panic at the Disco concert, but there was. That was the best performance of that day...they even did a few extra songs 'cause they liked the crowd. Cobra Starship, We the Kings, Gym Class Heroes, and The Academy Is were the highlight bands of the day for me. Haha there was moshing and crowdsurfing for those bands too.
Those are the only pictures that really came out pretty well. I had to use the camera on my phone...and well my phone paid the consequences as it fell to the ground and got stomped on during Cobra Starship. Luckily I was able to salvage it. To my suprise it still worked. Phones pretty tough...Ford tough...yea haha.
Well moving on last week I went to New York with my friend from my old job. Went to a few bars including Angels and Kings. That's the bar owned by several bands including Gym Class Heroes and The Academy Is. It was pretty happening when I got there but then I quickly started getting hot and less people were there...the power had gone out before we got there and the only thing lighting up the room were candles Lol. Bad day to go there I guess. Later we went to this club which I really wasn't feeling from the beginning so I just hanged around and had a few beers. Nothing special...but before I knew it the clock had turned to 4am. Sheesh...I didn't get home til 6:30. Still I had a good time.
Anyhow I'm really into a few new anime right now. Mainly Code Geass and Soul Eater, but since Soul Eater is the newest one I'll go into that one.
Lately I'm really skeptical about anime. It usually has to draw me in right away in order for me to stick around for an episode. This did just that and the art style definitely did it's job to draw me in. Fight scenes are smooth, music is great, and the characters are very rich in personality. I think we have a winner here. Hopefully it will stay that way. Below is the basic plot...which I did not write. Kind of gotta go as I'm writing this.
"Soul Eater primarily revolves around students classified as meisters at the Shinigami Weapon Meister Vocational School, or Shibusen for short, located in Death City, in the fictional Nevada, United States. The school is run by Shinigami, the God of Death himself, as a training facility for weapons and the human wielders of those weapons, the meisters. Each meister has at least one demon weapon companion which has both a weapon and human form. Shinigami created the school as an organization that enforces peace in order to prevent the rebirth of the "kishin", evil demon gods that nearly destroyed everything by plunging the world into chaos. Human souls that have become evil by straying from the path of humans have a high risk of becoming kishin, so evil humans are constantly being hunted down and killed by the students trained at Shibusen. The ultimate goal of the students with their weapons is to have their weapons defeat and eat the souls of ninety-nine evil humans and one witch, which will dramatically increase the power of the given weapon and thus be capable of being used by shinigami. In order to ensure this is done in a timely manner, all students and weapons attend classes regularly and are given homework or supplementary lessons to further their training. The meisters have a rating system that goes from one to three stars which usually measures soul energy. It is important that the meister and weapon can tune their "soul wavelength" to perform high level attacks and bring out the weapon's full power."
So there you have it...now it's time to do work, son.
