Wh-what? Colette's in a sleep coma?!

Yeah...it looks like she is.

What happened? When did she fall asleep? Is she all right?

[beats_zelos]

I noticed it this morning when I woke up. She's fine, as far as I can tell.

[redcladidealist]

...I'm coming over.

[He needs to see for himself.]

I'll be there in a minute, okay?

[beats_zelos]

...Yeah, okay.

[She doesn't want to worry him even more than he was, but...he wasn't going to listen.]

[Give him a minute. He was just in his room down the hall. But a minute's all it takes before he's knocking on Sheena's door.]

Sheena, it's me. Lloyd.

[Action]

[beats_zelos]

[She comes to the door a moment later, taking a deep breath as she opens it.]

Hey, Lloyd.

[Action]

[Lloyd's expression is as serious as it ever has been when he meets Sheena's eyes.]

Hey.

[He steps inside, disappointed when he doesn't see Colette, even though he knew she wouldn't have miraculously recovered in the minute it took him to get here.]

Is she in her room?

Yeah, she is. I haven't moved her since I found her.

[Action]

[He's anxious to see his childhood friend, even if he knows she's still asleep. He's already moving toward her room before Sheena's finished speaking.

Once he's in there, though, his mind goes utterly blank. What can he do? How's he supposed to protect Colette from this?

He drops a hand onto her shoulder, hoping she'll stir.]

Hey...

But... nothing. She just keeps breathing softly. Lloyd closes his eyes.]

Damn it...

[As she watches Lloyd, even though she was upset just a few minutes ago, her mind switches gears. Instead, she now feels the need to cheer him up.]

She'll be awake soon, I'm sure. [She approaches Lloyd, reaching out to him. But she ends up changing her mind, and letting her hand fall to her side.]

I'll keep watch over her. Everyone I've talked to so far said that when things like this happen, it doesn't last forever. Right?

[Lloyd offers her a weak smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. He appreciates her trying to reassure him, really.] Yeah, I know. Zelos woke up from his eventually, and so did Dino. [He sighs, running a hand through his hair.] It just kinda freaks me out. I mean, what if she doesn't wake up?

[She's worried about that too, but she won't say that to Lloyd.]

We'll just have to wait and see. Looks like there's nothing really wrong with her besides the fact that she's asleep.

Yeah... [It's the answer he knew he'd get, but one he didn't want to hear.]

[He glances at Sheena, almost searching her for a moment, making sure that she's all right, too. There's worry in his eyes he doesn't bother to hide, as though he's searching for signs of a sleep coma in her.]

Will you be okay? I mean, taking care of her like this.

[Action]

[beats_zelos]

Yeah, I'll be okay. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on her.

[She smiles again, hoping to cover up any of her own worry.]

It's the least I can do, right?
