On being MoAS
I have been very gung-ho this week about being A minister of Arts and Sciences. I love A&S and this has really inspired me. Because I am so laid back about most things, I don't make a fuss about going to events that I want to go to, usually I see which ones my Hubby wants to go to and then just go to those. But Now, I feel like I have a good excuse to go to all those Artsy fartsy events where there arent always big melees. Cool! I even signed up to teach 2 maybe 3 classes at fall university today. I never would have done that a month ago. (granted, I was autocrating an event a month ago...)
I am excited about the classes I am arranging, and I am looking forward to helping people in the barony arrange thier own displays. I really do love the SCA so many things about it to love. The socializing/community, the leaning, the crafting- I am quite invigorated, I hope I can keep up this kind of motivation when it gets hard and i run into obstacles.
