Did anyone else watch the news coverage of that steam pipe explosion in Midtown yesterday?
And did anyone else think it was totally tasteless that Fox News compared it to 9/11 19 times in the hour before they stopped caring and switched to So You Think You Can Dance?
Like, alright, let's look at the differences for a second: 9/11 saw 2,973 people dead in addition to the twin towers collapsed and set off the chain of events that would lead to the Iraq war and countless others dead not to mention the feeling of American insecurity not seen since the cold war. 7/18 saw eight people injured and a big ol' hole in the road. Really not the same thing at all is it?
