eleanorrigby_66/ picture_poet joint project: part 1 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'
So- as many of you know, the fabulous eleanorrigby_66
and I are currently doing a number of joint projects based on suggestions given by the community. Our first deadline was set for tomorrow, but since I am about to enter a veritable nightmare of sorts I asked and received permission to post a wee early.
Our first prompt we decided on was given to us by dashall's
and read as follows:

‘OKAY I JUST WANT: Paul holding George's head in his lap and playing with his hair and singing Oh! Darling to him. That's all I want.’
On a personal note, I don’t know how I managed to take such a sweat and innocent suggestion and turn it all sappy and sad. For some reason ‘While my guitar gently weeps’ was playing in my head when I started this- and not just any version, but the cut George Martin prepared for ‘Love’, with the original string orchestration. It’s just so beautiful and the violins so perfect...so I think that probably where the bulk of the blame lies.
Ok- that and I wanted to try my hand at drawing a modern day Paul.

ANYWHO- here is my entry for our first co-project. It’s still a little rough around the edges, but once things here calm down I want to make time to truly finish this- color and all. I’m rather proud of it for a rough draft though. as always, I'm sorry for the pictre quality.
