SO. Hello all of you wonderful Beatle People!! (heh, aren't I clever?)
I have some ideas that I'd like to run across all of you, because you give the greatest feedback and I'd like to know what you all think of these. Also, I'm almost putting them out there so I can sort of claim them (I don't know if that sounds awful or something) because I always have these ideas that I find other people have written before me, and I think to myself, "DAMN. why didn't I get off my lazy ass and write that shit before they did??"
So yeah, I'd like your opinion on which you'd like to see more. :) Ideas are under the cut, and to make this post worthwhile I also added a nice little P/R fic (which I wrote in about a half hour, so I don't know how good it is)
Please tell me if this is not allowed, because I'll easily delete it, and if the tags are alright or need adjusting.
1) This idea I've had for a LONG time, and I'm currently working on it now (though its REALLY slow going) and it involves John/Paul and Ringo/George. And basically what happens is that John's becomes dependent on alcohol and it puts strain on the entire band, with Paul always having to cover everything up for him to make it seem like less than it is. Eventually though, things get too hard to handle and some serious shit goes down.
2) AU fic, which is different for me, which would invovle Paul/Ringo and eventual John/Paul and MAYBE Ringo/George. Its sort of a playoff of Reign of Fire, a really cool movie with Christian Bale. It's not a crossover, I'm just borrowing the plot. Basically dragons have taken over the earth after being awoken from their hibernation, and a small resistance still survives with no way of killing the dragons. When a mysterious man (John) shows up claiming he's here to take back the world, it's a battle of life and death and for the humans to claim back the world they lost.
3) Last one is George/Ringo, and maybe J/P (because I can't NOT imagine them together.) and it'd be something along the lines of Ringo falling and getting amnesia, and the struggles that entails. I think this one would be shorter, maybe only like 8-10 parts. It's not as developed as the others yet, but I do like the idea.
So, what I'm asking is for you to give me opinions, what you think would work/not work, which you'd like to see the most from me. This is the first time I'd be tackling a long term fic, and I'd love as much feedback as you're willing to give.
