poor pup...
my dog decided to chase a porcupine up mt. juneau last night. when he came down his snoot was filled with quills, so he got to go to the emergency vet because he wouldn't let me get them out. it's a good thing he went since the ones still in there were in pretty bad and there were some stuck inside his mouth that i couldn't see. he had to be sedated and was pretty funny after that. he was swaying back and forth at the vet's office then passed out in the car. i got him to walk home and up all the stairs to the building then he bit it trying to get up the stairs inside the building. i took him up to our neighbor's apt. and he passed out on their floor with his eyes open and wouldn't wake up so i had to carry him down to my apt. he was still acting pretty strange this morning, when i put him out he stood in the rain for a minute then turned around and walked inside. i hope he's ok since i've been at work all day. he's tough, i'm sure he'll be fine. damn dog, i hope he learned a lesson because i can't afford to get him dequilled, that shit is expensive.
