"I Want to Hold Your Hand" on "Glee"

Another Beatles song was performed last night on "Glee"!!!   :D   This episode's theme was on spirituality and what different people believe, but the main storyline also was that Kurt's (Chris Colfer) father had a heart attack and went into a coma and the kids and teachers were trying to help Kurt through it.  It was hard at first since Kurt in an atheist, but he later thanked them all for thinking of his father and him and shows that Kurt still believes in love and the goodness people share.  Later in the episode Kurt's father Burt finally did wake up.   :D
It was a very emotional episode and Kurt sang a song to thank his friends and he said he related the song to the love he has for his father and how when Kurt's mother died his dad held his hand at the funeral and promised he would always be there for him.  The song ended up being a slowed down, and in my opinion, beautiful version of The Beatles "I Want to Hold Your Hand"!!!   <3   During Kurt singing the song, they even showed flashback scenes of Kurt and Burt and happy moments the father and son shared.  I never thought about the song relating to a parent/child relationship from the child's point of view, but it totally worked and had me in tears.  :(  Such a moving scene!!!   :D
