Summary: Sam is out of clean jeans
Sam had three pairs of jeans.
This wasn’t uncommon…for one of the two Winchesters to be short on a particular clothing item. When it was Dean, it was usually because of damage to what he had. When it was Sam, it was usually that he couldn’t find his size anywhere, and things had worn out.
Unfortunately, all three pairs of pants had become unwearable in some form or fashion within the span of a month.
Pair number one got a big rip down the front of one leg from a sharp piece of metal inside a crappy washing machine in a laundry mat in San Antonio. They were already worn out, but it didn’t mean that Sam wasn’t irritated when he had to throw them out. They weren’t worth salvaging at that point. And seriously? When did washing machines get sharp bits?
Pair number two Dean gave to some homeless guy in exchange for info on something they were hunting that week. He said he was sorry.
Pair number three was rank. They haven’t been washed since God knows when. Which, of course, means that Dean is obliged to lend him a pair. Even if he didn’t reek to high heaven while wearing them, he still owed Sam from pair number two.
Sam sighed as he slipped the material on. They were too loose around the waist, which lead him to also borrow a belt, and too short, which he couldn’t do anything about. They just felt…wrong.
“You want to borrow a shirt, too? I think I have something that might show off your awesome muscles.” Dean smirked, attempting to keep his hands from finding their way to Sam’s denim-clad ass.
Sam gave him the finger.
Dean couldn’t care less. The jeans didn’t show off his…assets as well as his own, but there was just something about the fact that Sam was wearing his clothes.
Dean snorted, “I should have made you buy me dinner before getting into my pants.”
