Sam was eternally grateful that Dean wasn’t going to be home from hunting with dad until late, because he finally worked up the nerve to invite Will back to his apartment. Out of the six weeks Sam had been left alone in this nowhere town in Georgia, they’d been dating for four, and in those four weeks, Sam had gone home with Will countless times. His family was wealthy, so they lived in a nice place, and accepting, so he and Will didn’t have to hide anything while there. Sam, meanwhile, was lucky to have hot water. Honestly, John couldn’t have chosen a shittier place in this town if he tried, but it wasn’t like Sam could do anything about it.

He waited for his boyfriend by the statue out front like he usually did, watching as cars pulled out of the side lot, and passed in front of the school. He watched everything from the newest BMW to a rusty old nova that he knew Dean would have appreciated if it were in its prime go by before Will managed to slip up behind him without him noticing.

“You in there, Sam?” he teased, messing up the younger boy’s hair before combing it delicately back into place with his fingers. Really, he was only older by a year, a senior, but as a star on the school’s football team, he used to intimidate Sam. Of course, that was before he found out that Will was only into guys, and one guy in particular: him.

Sam hadn’t thought much about his sexuality before moving here, but it didn’t seem like such an issue, especially once he felt comfortable in their relationship. He dreaded the day that Dad would return and demand that they pack up and go.

“Sam?” Will’s arms around him tightened, pulling him back to himself.

“Yeah, sorry. I kinda got lost in thought for a minute.” He smiled, turning to place a chaste kiss to his boyfriend’s cheek. Will positively beamed before returning the gesture.

“Wanna get going?” He asked, stepping away and offering his hand.

Sam took it, replying “Yeah, sure.”
They walked to his car, a black 98 Mustang, and headed in the opposite direction, to the outskirts of town where his apartment was.

After the (not so) grand tour of the apartment, Sam pulled Will into his bedroom, where he spent most of his time. Thankfully, in anticipation of this afternoon, he remembered to pull the covers up on the bed, and put all his laundry in the pile in his closet.

Will looked around, and much to Sam’s surprise, he didn’t seem to judge Sam over it.

“Oh wow! Is that a real knife?” Will asked, eyeing the glint of metal on his nightstand. Damnit! Sam thought.

“Yeah, it was a gift from Dean.” He watched dreamily as Will moved his strong fingers a short distance above the blade, hesitant to touch without permission. “You can touch it if you want. Just watch the blade; it’s sharp.”

“Nah, man, I think I’ll leave the sharp object on the table. With my luck, I’d drop it on my foot or something.” Sam smirked, recalling the time that Will explained how he couldn’t comprehend why he was skilled with a football when handling smaller objects literally escaped his grasp.

“I don’t have much we can do here, so…” Sam trailed off, once again uncertain if it was the best idea to come here.

“So? I know something we can do.” Will winked, causing heat to pool in his cheeks and groin. Sam crawled up the bed and settled on his back, while Will took it to be the invitation it was, and carefully settled himself on top of Sam, winding their legs together.

Sam was distracted enough running his hands through his boyfriend’s soft brown hair that he didn’t notice the faint rumble of the impala outside. He tugged Will down, and their lips met briefly before they both moved to deepen the kiss. Sam broke it when another thought crossed his mind.

“I don’t have any supplies here.” Will paused to think for a moment before replying, “Then we’ll just have to do this.” Rolling his hips, Sam got with the picture. He pulled at the hem of Will’s shirt, and tugged it off as Will worked on the buttons of his. Settling again, Will decided to explore Sam’s skin with his mouth. Sam’s moan was enough to mute the sound of the front door opening.

Dean and John had finished the hunt early, and John decided to send Dean back to Georgia to check up on Sam. The elder boy hadn’t anticipate there would be anything to worry about other than how best to get Sam irritated, like all good big brothers knew how to do, but he paused when he spotted a nice looking mustang in Mr. Greeley’s spot. It couldn’t be the old man’s because everyone who lived here was broke. He shrugged, before heading inside.

Out of all the things he’d expect when entering the door, hearing Sammy moan wasn’t one of them. Due to their constant awareness of each other, he knew that Sam only ever jerked off in the shower, and he was careful not to make noise that would alert his brother or father to his activities. Sam got embarrassed like that, which is why Dean had trouble believing that he would be comfortable enough to openly flirt with the palm sisters, even if he wasn’t supposed to be home yet.

He stalked forward and pressed their bedroom door open, hoping to both humiliate his brother (in the best of ways) and notify him of his presence. What he saw instead was shocking.

Sam had some jock writhing on top of him.

Seeing too much of the kid’s exposed ass, he couldn’t help but think I’m gonna throw up.

Sam, even while rushing towards his orgasm, was still a hunter. He heard the door close, and saw Dean’s expression of shock and disgust before the elder man retreated. Even in his dread of what was to come, he was wound too tightly to stop now, so he increased the grip he had on his lover’s hips, pulling him down tighter to speed up the process.

“Hello?” Bobby Singer grumbled over the phone, as he always did.

“Hey, Bobby, it’s Dean.” He pinched the bridge of his nose as he thought about what he was going to say.

“Somethin’ wrong, boy?”

“No, it’s just…I don’t know what to do about this one.” Dean could hear a soft sigh on the other end before the response.

“What’s going on?”

“I just walked in on Sam having sex with another guy.”

A pause.

“And? Is your problem with the fact that you walked in on him, or that it was with a guy?”

“A bit of both, actually. I don’t know if he knew I was there. But all this time, I kinda took pride in the fact that Sam was still a virgin, waiting for the right girl. It meant that I was doing my job right.”

“He’s a teenage boy, Dean, just like you. And as much as I don’t want to say this-”

“Please, don’t”

“He’s got urges, too. And if it turns out he’s gay, so what? Would you love him any less for that?”

“No, but.”

“But what, boy? It’s not that hard.”

“What about Dad?”

“What about him?”

“I’m almost certain Dad is homophobic. He’s already hard on Sam as it is. What’ll happen if he finds out?”

“Then it’ll be just like the time I nearly loaded his ass full of buckshot for chewing you out when he caught you with…what was that kid’s name?”

“Dennis.”

“Dennis. For all you know, this might just be a phase for Sam, like it was for you. But if it’s not, and your daddy’s got a problem, you can call me.”

Dean sighed. “Yeah, okay, Bobby.”

“Now, go back in there and make yourself known. It’ll do no good to keep it a secret. Sam should know that you’re supportive.”

“Thank you. I mean it.” Dean said earnestly.

“Idjit.” Bobby mumbled before hanging up.

Dean entered the apartment as Sam was showing his friend out. There were no introductions, and the blush of embarrassment on Sam’s face told Dean that it was because Sam knew that he knew. He followed his brother over to the sofa, and sat facing him.

“Who was that?” Dean asked, voice as neutral as he could make it. He didn’t want to unnecessarily spook Sam.

“That was my boyfriend, Will.” Sam fidgeted, pulling at the hem of his shirt. “We usually hang out at his place, but since I didn’t think you’d be home yet…”

“I’m not angry, Sam. Just…are you gay? I mean, it doesn’t matter if you are. I just want to know.” He was hoping Sam would jump in, and save him from his rambling. No luck. “It’s okay if you’re not, too. Or, if you don’t know, that’s cool. I mean-”

“Dean,” Sam finally stopped him, “I didn’t know that I could be into guys until I met him. I still like girls. But unlike any time I like a girl, I actually was able to talk to him. He’s…he cares about me, De.” Sam looked up, unsure of how Dean would continue.

“Okay.”

“Okay?”

“Yeah. Okay. So long as he’s treating you right, I’m not gonna get in the way.”

“Oh god, now you’re gonna make a joke about me being the sister you have to protect from perverts, aren’t you.”

Dean smiled, “You know me too well, Sammy.” He pulled his little brother in, placing an arm around his shoulder, and a kiss to his forehead.

Really, he shouldn’t have worried in the first place.
