I was asked the other night what my favourite books were from the past year. I blanked...but I know I should make some decisions. So here we go:

Top 5 6 Favourite Fiction (in no particular order):
Specimen Days - Michael Cunningham
Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro
The Time in Between - David Bergen
The Birth House - Ami McKay
Spin - Robert Charles Wilson
Saving Fish From Drowning - Amy Tan

Best Non-Fiction:
Stiff - Mary Roach (awesome, but creepy)
Runner up:
Marley & Me - John Grogan (so good!)

Biggest Disappointment of 2006:
The Black Dahlia - James Ellroy (garbage and booooring)
