Some random musings
I saw something yesterday during my run that you just don't see that often anymore--someone's discarded cassette mix tape, broken, yards and yards of tape streaming on the school fence down the block.
The Blackhawks game on TV was interesting... They played in Phoenix tonight, and I think 3/4 of the audience was rooting for the Hawks. Not a surprise, though, as it's also still spring training out west and Chicago people are out there in droves right now. Can't blame them--the weather here sucks right now. It rained all day, and NOW it finally warmed up. It's 55 outside and climbing--the house got uncomfortably warm all of a sudden about an hour ago. But then it's supposed to go back down to 35 for Friday, the day I have to go downtown and do a good mile of walking to get to a training. Blecch.
Missed the Supermoon last night--damn clouds rolled in an hour or two before moonrise. It's out tonight, though, still kind of impressive.
MegaMillions is up to $200M+ again... need to buy a ticket.
I've been able to run/walk outside again. Unfortunately I had to take the day off--my left knee hurts--since I'm still not used to running on pavement again. The nice thing about working out outside is that I usually get in at least 3 miles each time. On the treadmill, it was too easy to call it quits after 2.
