A friend (haha the famous dukens :-P) and I are going to put a book together of poems/photographs. The idea is to have a bunch of people contribute by having each author include a poem, a photograph they've taken that could connect to the poem (might not have to connect, that's still in the works :-P), and a little picture of yourself. It'd be a great way to be involved with people who have a similar intrests, or even just something that you and your friends (that you may not get to see often at all) can do together maybe. Also, the whole "creative writing through school" thing sometimes doesn't really work that often, so if you like to write and want somewhere to have it read, this would just be a no pressure/fun kind of thing to do.
