Catchphrases
I saw on MSN that TV land compiled a list of the 100 greatest catchphrases. I agreed with the selections. Many came from sitcoms.
"No soup for you!"
"D'oh!"
"Holy crap!" (Frank Barrone from Everybody Loves Raymond)
and, of course,
"How YOU doin?"
made the cut.
As did, "Holy (whatever) batman!" and a number of things from SNL.
"Jane, you ignorant slut!"
You cannot possibly understand how awesome that line is unless you've seen it delivered by Dan Ackroyd.
For Megan:
"We are two wild and crazy guys!" was there.
For Samantha:
"Live long and prosper"
and "Space, the infinite frontier" or "final frontier" or whatever it is. (Sorry, I have never really watched Star Trek.)
