yarrrgh! they murdered them with their steely knives! yargh!
got back from two days at the beach with UC, one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. I chilled with J, and one of her friends, G. They're both fun. We tried digging a pit, got bored, and played paddle ball. i won both times, cause each time the reff was adding points for me, lol. I had a lot of fun, even though i did have to miss the super duper exclusive dinner party of the summer, which i heard was a smashing afair. but back to the beach. The water was freezing the first day, and the second morning. i'm talking "never let go jack, never let go!" cold. so cold that at times Me, J, and G were the only ones in. Along with a group of attractive young lads. and a sexy lifie, who could not body surf. well, he could, i was just better than him. but then again, i OWN body surfing. the water was freezing though. really really cold. oh, and we caught a shark. not really, more like we're on the rocks, and G sees it, picks it up, and brings it to us. it was like, 3 1/5 feet long. but it was only a baby, so it didn't have teeth. G said it had "sand paper skin" literally. that in the days of old, they used shark skin as sandpaper. only its nose and fins were smooth. i understand why theysay to kick a shark in the gills if its like, killing you, because those were really thin, and soft, and pushed in when i ran my finger across them. that was the first day. then my dad left, and we all worked on the puzzel. then it was time for bed. G and i fell asleep on the floor, with J on the roof. pretty trippy, huh? and then, i was awoken at the crack of dawn, to actually watch the sunrise by G. at first, we were gonna go to the beach to watch the sunrise, but i was freezing, so i convinced G to watch it from the porch. we watched tv instead. then, UC woke up, and had me laughing so hard i was crying on the ground. i love him so much, even if he can be lound and argumentitive. so we went to the beach for a bit, but only after i fell asleep watching a high school on graduation (public acess, i'm guessing?) and wouldn't give the remote to J or G. hehheh. we went to the beach, and it was cold, but got warmer as the day went on. and again, i was the best body urfer on the face of the earth. then mombo came, and actually swam, pretty far out, which was amazing. we were all having tons of fun, catching "the mother of all tsunamis!" and playing with the "SHARKBALL!" it was a really fun two days.
and today, i went to the burbs, to hang out with my first and oldest friends, C and B. we went swimming, and B and i hugn out while C was on lifie duty. we swam away from M, who is 7 now! he's going into second grade. that made me feel sorta old. I'm double his age. when he's 14, i'll be 21. weird, huh? so then we go back to there place, where i had tons of fun. we invented a new game "lobster!" and i learned to skate board, sorta. but it was a ton of fun, and because of that, i'm filthy and sweaty, and have gravel stuck to me. ain't i sexy? but i don't care, i had too much fun. i laughed really hard, and for real. i stopped thinking about everything for a bit, and was just so absorbed in the game, and scootering, and playing with my friends that i didn't worry what i looked like, or who saw me lying on the street with a skateboard upside down on my knees. it was just fun. which is why i love suburbia.
in other news, i didn't have enough for shoes, but i'll get them monday. i got my new book bag, and lots of school supplies. tomorrow (Emme's birthday!!!) i'm going to the beach, but i'll be back monday, and in the city. so we're all gonna chil, and revel in the last days of summer. well, it's late, and i'm late, so i'm gonna go to bed. i'll call you all later. oh, i found leonard cohen. i'm in love with leonard cohen.
