04. What’s your favorite Beatles album and why do you love it? Do I seriously need to pick only one? Hmmm... can I pick two? Hehe, I absolutely adore Revolver and Magical Mystery Tour. Revolver just broke the mold of what rock albums were at the time. Lyrically, songs were leading away from just being about love and going into deeper themes and musically, there is so much experimentation. When I think of Revolver, I hear the backwards guitar solo from I'm Only Sleeping and the brass flourish of Got to Get You Into My Life, for example. Magical Mystery Tour is just so psychedelic and strange, which I LOVE <3.
05. What’s your least favorite Beatles album and why? It has to be a toss up between Beatles for Sale and Please Please Me. Beatles for Sale doesn’t have too many songs that I like, I mean, it’s not a bad album, it’s more that none of the songs are truly significant for me. Please Please Me I think because I can’t stand Love Me Do (The song goes nowhere. Seriously :/ ) and they hadn’t really gotten into their own sound that they become famous for in the future.
06. Besides the Beatles what other kind of music do you listen to? I listen to a lot of older stuff, not a lot from today. I love the Stones, the Who, the Animals, Buddy Holly, the Doors, the Troggs, the Kinks, Queen, CCR, Rush, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Cream...I could really go on and on.
07. What is your favorite Beatle period (mop tops, psychedelic/late, post-Beatles, other)? I like the end of the mop-top era (like around Help!) and psychedelic (to about Yellow Submarine).
08. If you were a musician what kind of music would you play? Would it be mostly covers or original songs? I’d start off with covers, then try my hand at writing songs as I like to write, but would obviously need a bit of a back up catalogue while starting up.
09. What do you think are your top 5 positive traits? think outside the box, open-minded, loyal, imaginative, loving.
10. What do you think are your top 5 negative traits? worrywart, hard on myself, passive, aloof with new people, regretful.
11. Do you work well in groups? I prefer to work on my own, but I can work with the right few people (I saw few because I’d rather work in smaller groups than with a mob).
12. Are you more of a perfectionist that takes time for every detail or would you rather throw things together more naturally? I’m a perfectionist for sure. I try to have things go naturally, such as when I draw, but I always end up trying to make the details just right (which equals lots of erase marks :/)
13. Is your personality/mood really random or pretty stable? I’m pretty random. I can be really quiet and contemplative one minute, then super happy and giggly the next.
14. Do you think of yourself as a very creative innovative person or would you rather stick with the tried and true? I like to see myself as being innovative. I love taking creative risks. I like to test people’s boundaries and see how far they can go before becoming frustrated or annoyed.
15. Are you lighthearted or more serious? More serious these days than I want to be, but I definitely have some light-hearted days.
16. Are you really talkative and extroverted or more quiet? I’m usually pretty quiet as I’m always thinking and editing what I’m wanting to say but by the time I try and say anything, the moment has passed :( So it leaves me looking as though I’m shy or aloof.
17. Do you respect authority or are you more of a rebel? I’m less of a rebel than I wish I was. I’m pretty respectful of authority.
