Amputee ballet

Ballet really isn't my thing -- I've usually got about 26 seconds of interest before I'm bored and want to move on.

But this* is amazing. The man is so incredibly graceful with a leg and a crutch -- more graceful than I am with two legs. I love how they incorporate the crutch into the performance. As with most things, there's a line that can be crossed in letting your disability become who you are (replace with race, nationality, or gender as applicable), but it's awesome to see these two individuals owning their disability/uniqueness and using it to make themselves stand out. Since I'm beginning to sound like an 'Accepting Diversity and Loving Others' booklet handed out to teenagers to stop them from calling each other fags and retards, I'm going to stop. But seriously, watch it. It's amazing.

(also, what was up with the emotionless audience? I know it's China and all, but the crying lady seemed to be the only human of the lot.)
