Well, people are saying the ash is from a volcanic eruption somewhere, right? If that's the case, there's a possibility we might be getting a lot of wind and rain. Hopefully the wind comes first.

If there's too much sulfur dioxide in the air... we wouldn't just get regular rain, we'd get acid rain. I'd say that's pretty bad.

If there's sulfur dioxide and nitrogen? nitrogen oxides in the air and they combine with moisture in the atmosphere, you get acid rain.

I'm really hoping it doesn't come to that, though..
