[ Up until Seifer opened his yap, Hayner had actually been feeling pretty good about coming back. It's not like he was any less miffed from before, but that comment made his eye twitch and Hayner frowned a bit, stepping up onto the porch after Beat. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, Hayner didn't bother stopping and kept walking to head inside.
Too bad he didn't really believe what Beat just said. ]

He stood up, frowning as Hayner headed past him. Sure, Seifer had kind of missed the company--okay, he was growing used to that constant presence that told him that not everything was different in Discedo--but he wouldn't admit that ever. So instead, he stretched his back lazily.]
Well, since you're here, I'm turning in. Night, Beat.
[And with that, he hurried into the building.] Yo, chicken wuss! Wait up a sec.

[He flops down on the porch steps, resting his elbows on his knees and his hands on his chin and listening as the two prattled. But when he heard both of them darting in, he jumped up quickly and turned around.]
H-HEY, WAIT. I THOUGHT WE'D ALL--
[He flattens after that, folds his arms, and grumbles something incoherently.] Shit. And here I was expectin' us ta be a big, happy family er summin'. Damn.

What? Don't call me that!
[ Sry Beat, a big happy family with both Hayner and Seifer in it? Not happening just yet. ]

But there were no happy family scenes with these two. He hurried to catch up with Hayner, moving to walk next to him.]

Still frowning, Hayner finally stopped walking when he bumped into the banister for the stairs, and just crossed his arms. ]
Okay, what. I'm not going to go all the way up to the room with you following me.

...Look, just...
[What was his point, again? Reaching a hand under his beanie, he scratched the back of his head.]
Welcome back.
[Seemed well enough. And with that, he just turned around and headed back to his friend on duty.]

He tipped his head backwards, looking at the approaching male with a bit of a smirk.]
