Reason 2349832948239483 why I ♥ Obama:
It's been so long since I could log on to any site related to political commentary and read "America, your President has class" and a link to BBC and not cringe, knowing that it was dripping with snarky sarcasm.
This morning I opened up reddit.com, and was greeted by that exact image. With a sinking feeling, wondering how it was possible that Obama could raise the ire of our global peers, I clicked.
It linked to a news piece and video about Obama bringing cupcakes to a press conference to celebrate the 89th Birthday of Helen Thomas, a veteran White House correspondent.
Wow. What a refreshing difference.
