Ughh. The bowels of the University...
So I just stumbled upon the disgusting mess that is juicycampus.com.
Ugh, what a concentration of hate and stereotypes and everything that Hollywood capitalizes on about the Greek system on college campuses...shallow, vain, inbred, bitter, nasty, vindictive, horny, mean. Arguing over "top houses" and "coke addictions" and how "fat" or "girlfriend-material" one house is over another...it's disgusting. Not to mention a list of "guys who act nice but just want sex" --one of which is a friend. Ugh.
I know pledges or members from all the houses talked about on that website, and few to none of them fit any of the "descriptions" of the houses.
On another note, we almost fired someone during a closed session in Senate today. It was really then that I realized how fucked up it was...most of the people around the table were friends with the person, and we had to essentially judge him and potentially fire him! Ultimately we gave him a conditional position (he missed too many meetings, so now he can't miss any or he loses the job).
