In the summertime, when the weather's fine

Jun 23, 2008 22:12

I've officially got all my summer reading started up: On Beauty by Zadie Smith, The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, The Atheist's Handbook by Christopher Hitchens, and An Exception to the Rulers by Amy Goodman. Those are first priority, and then I want to read Love in the TIme of Cholera and reread The Poisonwood Bible. Then I'll go from there and probably just read lots of fluffy novel-y things.

On another note, Yellowstone was absolutely BRILL!! As was finding out my grades for this quarter (: Yay for GPA improvements. Hopefully summer session will also be a GPA booster too (: My summer so far has pretty much just been a focus on Yellowstone and camping there (links to pic albums below cut), with a brief interlude of Arnold's 21st B-day party (in which he ended up getting 6 stitches and I slapped him, a lot, while drunk--not one of my proudest moments) before I returned home!!

Here at home, I have been driving a lot!! :D Which is exciting because that means that I will get my LICENSE and thus A CAR by the end of this summer!! I can't wait. PLUS, CAL AGGIE CAMPPPP!!! So many good things.
