I love 1010 Columbia!!
These past few weeks have been eventful, therapeutic, fun, exciting, intense. Full of activism and laughing and cheering and meeting "important people" and birthdays and drinking and a little bit of flirting.
Spring Break was nothing short of amazing, as expected. So many amazing, dedicated, fun people...not to mention the unique experience of being able to bike around Fresno with Congressman Jim Costa!!! Lula's B-Day party and the picnic/bbq were also amazing...so fun! We (the house) went with the theme of music as "Latin Music," which was fun...Arnold came along and dressed as "Nerd Punk Rock" (think Weezer), as did Benny, but he didn't dress up. At the picnic, croquet, playground-playing, frisbee, and dog petting happened.
OH!!! Also, 4 media hits in one day--I spoke a press conference where NBC and ABC came, and then later did a radio interview, and then did a LIVE interview on News 10...you guys can watch it here: http://www.news10.net/display_story.aspx?storyid=40259 (on the right it should say "Live_Online: College Credit Woes with Design Financial Solutions' David Johnson and UC Davis student Tracey Zeng"...a lot of it is waiting around between broadcasting times).
Add having normal conversations with an ex for the first time since breaking up, dancing lots and lots, going to CAPS and talking it out, reapplying myself in terms of schoolwork, taking steps towards getting over certain things (ie: "Harry"...not all the way there yet, but close!!), and the amused pleasure that comes with flirting with cute guys, and you've got yourself my current life.
PLUS I HAVE A JOB NOW FOR POST-GRADUATION!!! and it's a damn good one, too - working in the capitol as a fellow! YAYY.
