Oh man, I love Davis so bad. I pity the fools who decided not to come to UCD.
I mean, come on, where else do people dress up as spartans en masse in the middle of the day, make shields out of soda/beer cans, swords out of pool noodles and pvc pipes, and then congregate in the middle of the school and have at it? Where else can you find a city so gorgeous and people-friendly and perfect to live out your four years of college? (this has become even more emphasized since my trip to Berkeley last weekend, where I was shocked by how much of a wonderful bubble Davis is). There's the beautiful NorCal weather and the chill, laidback vibe...I mean, honestly.
On a seperate but perhaps slightly related note, I got into a ketchup fight today in the Segundo Dining Commons. It was glorious. Truly an epic moment. My shirt got kind of stained and I had to go home and take a shower, but it was all worth it in the end. What an amazing day.
Actually, it's kind of been a mixedly amazing week. On the non amazing side: finals, pulling 4 allnighters in the past 6 days (and drinking lots in the other 2 days, but that's on the good side), papers, stress, tired. On the amazing side: hanging out majorly with my LOVELY future roommate monica, baring our souls to each other, talking about which greek gods we would date, getting drunk as shit on wednesday night and getting kind of drunk last night, baking a cake instead of studying Geology, hanging out with awesome people (ie Monica, Arnold, Dallas, Dan, Ramneek, Courtney, Emily, etc etc etc), having a fucking awesome ketchup fight in the DC.
