Portfolio blues
The red or the black? How about a mini skirt collection in faded denim or the more girly spring fashion collection? I didn't think it was going to be this difficult and I find myself rummaging through old clippings and drawings in attempt to make the perfect-sized portfolio I could send to Echo and Ralph Lauren. One of my contacts passed on some information that they are looking for fresh newbies for fresh gear. I have to be quick about this before everyone finds out.
Angie and I went to a couple of boutiques in the city this morning. After awhile, everything seems the same. There is nothing new in the world unless I take some of this, add a bit of that, a dash of me and voila! a new thing. But it's never original and never new. How can something be original if it's taken from the past? It can't. right?
I must get back to digging. This portfolio must be done soon.
