Piano Blabber

I finally found my two cd set of Arthur Rubenstein playing Chopin. Personally, I think Rubenstein plays Chopin like no other. I've always loved the irony to that because Chopin was unbearably anti-Semetic and Rubenstein was Jewish. Hee hee, eat that Freddy Chops!

If I ever go back and get a master's degree in history, I wonder if I could specialize on musical history, not theory because that's probably too over my head. I'm not sure. I'll have to look into this. There was a time though that I could have probably written one helluva biography on Freddy had I not been 16 and angry with just about eveyrthing.

Actually, there is someone alive who plays Chopin like a fiend possessed. I just heard about the Cleveland International piano festival. It only happens every two years and I think it's at the end of July this year. YAY! I'm going; I don't care if I have to go by myself. Anyway, my whole point is that this person, Wan Li... Wait, maybe I'm thinking of Ancient Chinese history... Wang Li, Wu Li, ack, it's something Li and I heard the "Tickle Your Fancy and Please send us money" broadcast from La Place on WCLV like a week ago and almost drove off the road. Well, that's not too unusual, so, let's say, I almost sent them money (and probably would have if I was at home sitting around doing nothing).
