yes yes, he's back
WHAT AN AWESOME TRIP! awesome dinners every night; we went to chinese, american, two fancy places. we went to three baseball games; the first i didnt pay much attention to though cuz i was tired, the second one i didnt have sunglasses (and too many people were wearing white shirts - very bright) and i had sunscreen in my right eye and it burned like hell through the entire game, the third i had sunglasses and was carefu with the sunscreen and it was great! we went shopping!; i got 4 t-shits, one button-up tee, a pair of swim shorts, and a pair of the aforementioned sunglasses. we swam in the pool. and we spent the night together 5 nights in a row.
arizona is so pretty, or atleast scottsdale/tempe/phoenix are. everything is so clean and refined. the sides of highways (walls and such) have designs in them. there's no trash anywhere. even the clouds are different, cant really explain it, they just are. the malls are HUGE and pretty and very clean as well.
yesterday i saw the "taste of chaos" (or something) tour. my brother and his friend had an extra ticket so i used it as my chance to go out and do something new. saw my chemical romance, killswitch engaged, the used, and some other hard rockin bands. down in the pit, though i never joined in any mosh pit action, was crazy. you're always squished between atleast 5 different people and the crowd moves like a sea. a section i was in actually fell over, but we all helped each other up. i lifted some guy up to crowd surf and passed some people along. sometimes i jumped up and down, other times i did it because i had to; the people around me were all jumping and if i wasn't it hurt.
today i had band practice. we have 5 songs now. we're trying to come up with names. the winner thus far is "dead awake".
im glad to be back, much more jamming will be had, and im going dancing on friday.
