Easter weekend was the best.
Krystal was nice enough to host me, Kelly, and Claire in her parent's tiny house in the suburbs. We went to an antique mall in Volo, Illinois. Which is nothing but prairies. I bought this Siamese cat figurine there, and shifted through boxes of Audubon prints. We ate donuts at this Mom and Pop shop, got Steak and Shake, I did some sewing when we had down time, too. Krystal has the best cat that's small and soft and does nothing but purr. Krystal's grandfather let us take home some of his produce, so I got a mango, two navel oranges, and a lemon, her mom gave us Easter candy. The weekend was filled with food and family that was not my own, but who were so generous to me. I'm glad to have friends who I can sew with, eat with, and pet cats with.
Days until summer are numbered and I need to really stop wasting time with naps. Especially when I need to work. This weekend it should be around 60 degrees and I'm going to go to the zoo. And get cupcakes with girlfriends. So, work with no stopping at all...after that.
