I know living in a big city is supposed to be super fun.
And it is. Chicago is fun. Super fun. But can I also say the following is so fucking inconvenient:
grocery shopping part 1: the most awful looking produce
grocery shopping part 2: taking public transit home after grocery shopping, limit one bag per hand, always
walking on a crowed sidewalk when it's raining and everyone has umbrellas
waiting for elevators, you never know how long you could wait especially if there is a crowd waiting for the same elevator
weather so unpredictable
pollution, so bad
getting sick, so often
what a contrast to home in every way
it's hard to miss home when nothing reminds me of home whatsoever.
until I really stop to think about it, ah I miss the west! The southwest!
