(no subject)
Since I've been out of school (two weeks) I've heard a mockingbird outside mostly all night long starting at 11PM or midnight. The noise of my overhead fan often drowns him out when I turn it on. Which is a shame because I love mockingbirds, especially when they sing at night and they're all you can hear. Not only is he the only noise in my neighborhood but he's so loud! And all mockingbirds sing strangely because they're mimicking sounds. I've heard him during the day as well. After some research I'm assuming that is is both male and looking for a mate. Not only does he sing all night long, but he also sings during the day occasionally.
