Little Update
I'm back, as always I don't post that much.
Things are going well. Just been busy planning everything for the wedding. Although the economy is doing pretty bad right now, I've gotten a few new stores here in the US (Orange County, Chicago, Toledo, and online stores) one pretty important one that I wanted to sell the line in. I'm not sure how they found me but they did and approached me. It's an important store because they get tons of media attention and where a lot of celebrities shop so it could be a great thing. Certain shows are filmed there regularly. Entertainment Tonight was there last week, Bravo is there regularly. It's just great exposure. The other stores are still great, it's always nice to be getting new ones. I've been looking into getting a sales rep, I'd much prefer that at this point.
I was also asked to include my stuff in the gift bags for the Oscars but decided that I might do it next year.
There are some new shows I'm also looking into doing around here, there are so many great ones. Right now, I'm not sure if doing shows is the best idea, considering how the economy is and how careful people are being with spending.
Other than that, just been working on helping one of my friends start her Yoga Wear Company. She came here, I helped with the shoot, did her catalogue afterwards and am helping with whatever I can. It's been fun.
Mark and I are trying to eat healthier to lose weight for the wedding. My maid of honor will be visiting again in May so I can pick a wedding dress, I'm so excited. Everyone has been awesome and helping with so many things with the wedding, we are really grateful and surprised.
LA is amazing, I absolutely love it here. Mark and I are considering moving to Europe and to Canada when we have kids so I could be closer to my family for that and also, I'm not paying $40,000 to give birth in the US. I find it shocking how the country can afford to send off so many people to fight in the "war" while their people aren't covered with health care like many countries are. It blows my mind.
Anyways, going to have a shower, do some cutting and work today. Maybe go to Costco if Mark feels like it :)
