I AM BACK IN NC!!!!
Thank God. Mom paid me back so I bought the new G&LB from Tokyopop and I entered the IW giveaway. I reaaaallly hope I win, and I worked really hard on the entry. It might be my only chance to get a somewhat latexmas present!
Screw the haters, I love Tokyopop's G&LB if just for the contests/prizes and article translations alone. I mean, I can easily get both versions from Sailfish, but I enjoy the Tokyopop version because I get to see fresh faces instead of "there's a Japanese girl, there's a Japanese girl..." while the Japanese original is more current and authentic in its coverage of the fashion in Japan. They aren't competitive for me: I love each version for different reasons.
Anyway, the RAT had awesome marzipan tonight, because Chef David's back. I love that man. Class starts tomorrow around 10ish, but I need to wake up early to go the library at 8:30 due to a) my having books to check in after long time, and b) I might be on duty and can't remember due to my crazy.
P-A.net is on HIATUS for awhile but I PROMISE I will try to update it with it's new layout and stuff. It sort of needs a revamping anyway. Theme for the new year is Valkyrie (Norse shield-maiden goddess NOT Tom Cruise Nazi conspiracy film). I'm trying to overcome and be powerful again, I guess, and I also like that they are female-identified. Not to mention Brynhildr has daddy issues just like me and is a very dynamic person.
