Also, an update on my life...
Financially, things are really starting to smooth out. My wife and I have been buying so many movies these last two months that we will have to buy a bigger DVD "book"shelf before too long. XD Also, as I work my ass off and put forth the extra effort, my new super loves me. Up until last week, I'd been put here and there to fill in all the holes the regular dishwashers don't take up(not to mention all the times I would take up the slack when one or several of the regulars called in "sick") but starting week after next, I'll be put permanently on the 7PM to 2AM shift at the Grandstand Sports Grill(and I'm not even out of my probationary hire period yet lol). I'm hoping this means that I'll get put on "full time" as soon as or soon after I come out of probation. Not only would that mean about 5 more work hours a week but a raise in pay; I've heard that it will be at least $10/hr.
I swear though at every other place I've ever worked at(and not run by Native Americans mind you)I've applied the same work ethic to my job(hussle my ass, do other things which are not my duties when its slow, show up on time and RARELY miss work, etc)and I get screwed over for the people who kiss ass, pretend to work while the boss is around but fuck off when they leave, cut corners on their duties to artificially pump-up their production and thus payrate...you get the idea. Its no wonder Americans think they are so great; I mean its obvious why. REALLY, they are such a hard-working, altruistic and intelligent people.
